UNESCO: Developing SDLs Tools for Researchers and Librarians
ECH recently concluded its collaboration with UNESCO on the creation of an online course for librarians and researchers, focusing on workers of the cultural sector in the MENA Region. The company, in cooperation with highly qualified professionals in the field of Education, worked on the Arabic version of the existing English version of the course. ECH tasks comprised translation, editing, coding of the website and voice over management.  Moreover, ECH is moving towards a long-term collaboration with UNESCO to cover more educational services, such as the delivery of new languages (like French and Spanish) for the already existing course for librarians and researchers, plus a long term engagement for the creation of a Learning Management System. Art Jameel: Continuing Education Program and Alumnize Club

Art Jameel: Continuing Education Program and Alumnize Club
ECH oversees capacity building programs for former students of the School of Traditional Arts and Crafts "Art Jameel", based in Cairo. ECH has been committed to prepare various workshops for young artisans in Egypt in the framework of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiative International, in partnership with Prince's School of Traditional Arts (PSTA), UK and Victoria and Albert Museum, UK. The workshops aimed to deliver marketing, entrepreneurship and business skills, by encouraging the participants to draw their own business plan. ECH has also contributed to the creation of the Alumni Club of Art Jameel Art School, monitoring and providing logistic support in the implementation of the Club’s activities. NUMBERS: 35+ Workshops and training courses 200+ Alumni served 5 International events

IOM: COOPERATION & MANUFACTURING: SOCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE WOMEN OF HELWAN
ECH is currently running a project with IOM on migrant and host community’s women in Helwan within the framework of the EU-funded “Regional Development and Protection Programme in North Africa - RDPP”. The aim of this project is to economically empower women through the delivery of vocational training courses on handicraft and entrepreneurship, and to give them psychological and legal assistance; furthermore, this project aims at enhancing social cohesion and alleviating tensions between migrants and host communities in Helwan and more generally in Egypt. NUMBERS: 150+ Women trained 80+ Women employed 4 community cohesion events

Expertise Consultancy House has been responsible for organizing the training sessions for 150 low-income women in Minya Governorate, project implemented by ILO. The Company has also provided a periodical monitoring of the project itself. The project mainly aimed to foster self-employment developing entrepreneurial and marketing skills among marginalized women, to promote the opening of new small-scale business in new and competitive sectors, to ensure their market access and the competitiveness of their production. ITC: National Program for Women Social and Economic Empowerment

ITC: National Program for Women Social and Economic Empowerment
In partnership with the Industrial Training Council (ITC), ECH has taken part to the National Program for Women Social and Economic Empowerment and has given its contribution by conducting a research about women participation in labour market in different governorates and by providing 900 young and middle-aged Egyptian women from Sohag, Minya, Luxor, Aswan, South Sinai, Cairo governorates with vocational training sessions over a period of 7/8 months. The training sessions were based on the following topics: entrepreneurship principles, how to start small projects and marketing strategies. After the training ECH has given its contribution to establish some Production Units supplied with all the necessary equipment to facilitate the future production. NUMBERS: 900+ women trained 7+ governorates involved 50+ SMEs started

ILO: Skills and Employment for Peace
The Company has been engaged by International Labour Organization (ILO) to conduct a tracer study on the impact of the Peace Building Fund's "Skills and Employment for Peace" project in South Sudan, after project implementation was completed. NUMBERS: 500+ Cases examined in the report
